Meet Iliana Kennedy, Calgary's kids piercing specialist
Iliana Kennedy is the kids piercing specialist at Tribal Expression in Calgary. She follows the Tribal Expression kids-piercing philosophy — professional, kid-focused, and built around how a child actually experiences their first ear piercing.
Iliana’s story
Iliana Kennedy is the kids piercing specialist at Tribal Expression in Calgary. She trained and apprenticed under Keith Kennedy, founder of Tribal Expression, and has completed Medical Device Reprocessing education at SAIT — bringing real sterilization knowledge to every child's appointment. Her kids-piercing philosophy: the child is part of the decision — she explains what will happen, answers questions honestly, includes the child in jewellery selection, and lets them communicate fear or hesitation.
Iliana grew up around Tribal Expression and apprenticed under her father Keith Kennedy, founder of Tribal Expression and a professional piercer with nearly 32 years of experience. She completed Medical Device Reprocessing education at SAIT.

The child is part of the decision. Iliana explains what will happen, answers questions honestly, includes the child in jewellery selection, and lets them communicate fear or hesitation. Tribal Expression never promotes restraint or force as a kids-piercing experience — a first ear piercing should be something a child can feel proud of.
Note: Iliana's credentials reflect professional piercing and medical-device reprocessing education. Tribal Expression does not claim medical, nursing or physician credentials.
